What does an operation gain by connecting WMS with ERP and eCommerce?
The "theoretical stock" disappears. The WMS holds the physical truth (locations, lots, expirations), the ERP holds the accounting truth and the eCommerce holds the commercial truth. Integrafy syncs them in real time: what the web shows is what the warehouse has, what’s billed is what has shipped.
Do industrial WMS systems have modern APIs?
Usually not. Mecalux and many legacy WMS use SOAP, XML over files or stored procedures in the database. Integrafy Core ships adapters for those protocols — we don’t rewrite the WMS, we adapt to how it speaks.
Can you sync stock in real time from the WMS?
Yes. Via push webservices or frequent polling (every few seconds) against the stock tables. Integrafy handles idempotency and maintenance windows so the WMS isn’t swamped during peaks.
How are lots, expiration dates and serial numbers handled?
Data Hub’s canonical model includes lot/serial/expiry dimensions as stock attributes. Every movement carries this data structured through to the eCommerce or the ERP. If your WMS tracks them, Integrafy propagates them.
